We love seeing the world through a child’s eyes.  We love their imaginations, their senses, and their wonder – running, romping, daydreaming, gazing at the clouds.  That’s what Milkbarn is all about.

Stacy Phillips, Founder
Inspired By A Child's Imagination

We like to think of Milkbarn as a one-word poem.  Our essence, our playfulness, our imagination, our creativity, and our love all rolled into a name.  We’re nostalgic, yet modern; country, yet urban; rustic and yet clean, cool and timeless.

In our world, lions, Goldendoodles, and bunnies roam freely.  In our world, orange giraffes graze the redwood forests while Blue Jays and Whippoorwills serenade the Pacific Ocean.  In our world, artichokes giggle as ladybugs and Thoroughbreds settle gently on our fingertips.

In our world, the world of Milkbarn, we believe in our children’s imagination and that imagination inspires all we create.

Our History
Sometimes We Must Take A Leap Of Faith

Our roots are in dairy country, the rolling hills north of San Francisco.  In 2006 Stacy Phillips founded Milkbarn.  What started as Stacy working and designing at her kitchen table has grown into a business that distributes treasured goods worldwide.  A lot has changed since Stacy began sewing bibs for her seven-month-old son.  What hasn’t changed, though, is our commitment to our customers and our dedication to making the highest quality products.

Stacy draws inspiration from her husband, three children, family, and friends.  She resides in Franklin, Tennessee, and loves reading, traveling, long walks, meaningful conversations, exploring backroads, and a good old-fashioned cup of tea.

Our Designs
A Magical Collaboration Between Mother + Daughter

Our original, one-of-a-kind prints and designs showcase a collaboration between Stacy and her daughter, Haley.  Haley’s sketches, drawings, and watercolor paintings have become an integral part of Milkbarn’s textiles and fabrics.  Our mother-daughter duo creates more than just images on fabric – they weave untold stories, wonder, and love into every piece.

In addition to working on textile prints, Haley illustrates Milkbarn’s children’s books.  With brushstrokes of realism and touches of whimsy, Haley brings to life the stories told by our select authors.  Haley and her husband, Charlie, make their home along the shores of San Diego where she enjoys surfing, walks along the beach, and experimenting in the kitchen.
